Eugene Rutagarama is a senior conservation biologist, with extensive experience in Great Lakes region of Africa. His expertise includes building partnerships for conservation with a broad range of stakeholders, management of multi-donor projects, strategic planning and organizational development – with the main thrust of wealth in developing sustainable institutions and park management effectiveness.  His 20 years' experience in biodiversity conservation projects design, management and implementation has earned him international recognition and awards.
